Europe’s Unnamed Leaders

Die Weit: EU now threatens violent dispute over Grexit

Die Welt says EU threatens violent Grexit dispute

BY KYLE ANDREW BROWN

Berlin, July 6 – The German media has begun it’s full court press to shape public opinion in Europe following the unprecedented Oxi : Noi vote by Greek voters in Sunday’s referendum.

The mainstay Die Welt publication directs readers’ attention with this front page splash headline:

EU threatens violent Grexit dispute

The political dynamic of this Die Welt headline is meant to suggest that the European Union is some national government that has corralled all it’s legislative members and all it’s executive cabinet ministers – now united! – ready to do violent dispute with the foreign enemy – the [illegitimate] Government of Greece.

Die Welt knows it to be true that the European Union is in violent dispute with Greece because: “Some politicians are calling for the ouster of Athens from the euro zone.”

Die Welt also knows that: “Some EU leaders are calling for further negotiations with Greece. Others call for an exit of Greece from the euro zone.”

Die Welt’s leaders and politicians, are readers to assume the list to include the President of France? The Prime minister of Britain? How about the Scandanavian prime ministers. The King of Nederland perhaps?

Pick one.

The German paper Die Welt continues: Fears  are striking the hearts of European governments:

Governments are driven by concern that populist forces might get boost by a concession to Greece in their countries. In Spain, where the left-wing populist Podemos movement is gaining traction – this year a new government is going to be elected.”

The only European Government leader of any note that Die Welt quotes is the European Parliament’s president Martin Schulz. He ‘s the guy who said just ten days ago that he was “tired of all the filthy rich of Athens.”

Now Martin Schultz is saying: “Maybe we will have to give an emergency loan bridge to Greece so that the public services can be maintained and needy people get the money they need to survive.”

The European Parliament president just does not get the whole point of the Tsipras government and the Greek Referendum. Which is: “We don’t want any more loans that will never be paid back and shackles Greece into a forgotten Debtors Colony.

On Sunday the people of Greece spoke loudly and they spoke clearly.

Greeks fully understand that Greece is the bottom fall guy of the German Financial Pyramid Scheme where the bankers who booked the loans got rich. Along with the Greek oligarchs who cashed in on all the monopoly money flying around.

And now the common people of Greece are made to service the debt.
