WASHINGTON, July 3 – It is in fact the euro that holds the Greek nation hostage. And it is Angela Merkel and the German state that believes it holds sway over the dignity, humility and social justice of the Greek people.
It was only last week that the German Chancellor orchestrated the trashing of the Greek government through her proxies in Brussels and her French poodle at the IMF Christine Lagarde.
And it was left to the President of the European Parliament who was given to proclaim that Athens was filled with the filthy rich.
